He is survived by two daughters, Sally Techtow of Danville and Cindy Kanzleiter of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; two brothers, Joe Kennard, Jacksonville, Florida and Ivan (Joan) Kennard, Charleston and five grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
