OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)
Mrs. Pauline Tomson Kendall, wife of Alton Kendall, died Friday morning at 6:15 o'clock in the Wabash County hospital from heart disease. Mrs. Kendall became suddenly ill Wednesday noon and was admitted to the hospital Thursday morning at which time her condition was not regarded as serious.
Pauline Tomson was born Feb. 9, 1903 in Wabash county to Leona and Arthur Tomson. Before her marriage to Alton Kendall on June 2, 1929, she taught school for seven years in the fifth grade at Linlawn. Mrs. Kendall was a member of the wabash Friends church and belonged to the Liberty Ladies Aid Society and the Tri-Townshop Home Economics Club.
Survivors include the husband, the parents, three sons, Arthur Dale, Alton Gene and Arlen Dean, and two sisters, Mrs. Francis Garpow of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Paul Shivers Jr. of Wabash. A brother, Don Tomson, preceded her in death a few years ago.
The body was taken to the Brenneman Funeral Home in LaFontaine and will be returned to the Kendall residence, LaFontaine R.R. 2, where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Friends church here with J. Grant Johnson, pastor, officiating. #Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
