Glennis Christina Kendall passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. She was born February 11, 1926 to Francis M. "Dick" and Nellie Randolph of Kokomo. She married Robert Lee Kendall on December 24, 1965. Lee preceded her in death on July 12, 1998.

Glennis was a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in the seventies and eighties. She was a wonderful friend and mother, always making everyone around her smile. Glennis was an avid reader and could quote lines of poetry and quotations for any occasion.

Glennis dearly loved all dogs; from luring them to follow her home when she was six to saving several in her adult life, they were an important part of her life. In her later years, she spent many hours knitting and crocheting newborn blankets and lap robes for elderly patients at both hospitals. Her charitable heart has helped many people anonymously. She was loved by all who knew her, and her family felt blessed to have had her in their lives.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Shietze and step-sons, Terry and Sam Kendall.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Norm Snyder officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery
