GREER, SC - Ina Forrester Kemp Harper, 84, of 4782 North Highway 14, widow of Henry Harper, died March 17, 2002, at Allen Bennett Hospital.
A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Tommie and Lillie Campbell Forrester, she was a retired employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Her first husband was the late A. B. Kemp.
Surviving are three sons, Louie Kemp, John L. Kemp and Lanny Kemp, all of Greer; four stepchildren, Harold Harper of Walhalla, Betty Deaton of Westminister, Joann Rogers of Seneca, and Jeannette Cantrell of Salem; one brother, Ralph Forrester, of Greer; three sisters, Effie Stewart and Floy Sloan, both of Greer, and Ruth Ellen Clayton of Campobello; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harper was predeceased by one son, Colin Kemp; and one sister, Edith Arms.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Don Kelly. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary escort will be The Willing Workers Sunday School Class, Bernice Snyder, Lou Wilbanks and Mary Robison.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 tonight at The Wood Mortuary.
