Tonya K. "Toni" Foster, 54, passed away on Sept. 21, 2010 at her home in Banning, California. She was born on December 22, 1955 in Wellsboro, Penn. She has been a resident of Banning for 47 years. She graduated from Banning High School in 1974.
She was an instructional aid for the Banning Unified School District for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Rodger of Banning; one daughter, Marianne Downs (Steve) of Banning; a son, Scott Foster (Josie) of Banning; four grandchildren, Cali and Jenna Downs of Banning., Austin and Audrie Foster of Banning; her mother, Mary W. Kelsey of Banning; two brothers, Terry Kelsey of Banning and Samuel Kelsey of Phoenix; and eight nieces and nephews.
She loved and enjoyed her friends and her work. She was a very special person to many people in the community.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Sept. 26, from 2-5 p.m. at the family home, 1723 W. George St. in Banning.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m. at San Gorgonio Memorial Park.
She was so very loved by her family. Her presence, love, strength and positive spirit will be missed greatly by them.
