Mrs. Aaron, born November 20, 1931, died on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from complications of Alzheimers. She was the daughter of the late Tince Wilson Kelly. She was raised by her maternal grandparents the late John T. and Bessie Wilson; and by her aunts and uncle, Mrs. Mary Landings (Ben) and the late Mrs. Lillie Williamson and the late Mr. Clarence Wilson. Marian retired from Southern Bell - Bell South with thirty-five years of service. She later volunteered at Baptist Hospital in the occupation Therapy Department for sixteen years. She was a member of St. Andrews Baptist church and the Joy Sunday school class.
She is survived by her sons, Mr. Stanley Gene Aaron (Maria) and Mr. Ronald Jeffery Aaron; a grandchild, Mr. Walter Clinton Aaron (Jen) and three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Parker and Lila Aaron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Baptist Church, 230 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210 or the Charity of One's Choice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the dedicated team members at Harbor Chase and Abbey Road Hospice.
