She was born Nov. 29, 1940 in Queens, NY to William and Betty Jean (Hausser) Kelly. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Mitchville, IA. She lived from 1960-68 in Commerce City, CO. She later moved to Kearney in 1968. She worked for years at Grandpa Steakhouse where she was nicknamed, "Bubbles". She later attended nursing school in Kearney where she received her LPN. She most recently worked for Mid-Nebraska as a caregiver.
She was a member of the church.
Her pastimes included her love for horseback riding.
Survivors include her son, Dale of Lincoln, daughters, Nancy (Scott) Dobberstein of Kearney, Dorine Blodgett of Papillion, Kelly Bonnell of Akron, CO and Julie Bonnell of Lincoln, brother, William H. (Karen) Smith of College Place, WA, sisters, Jo Ann (Armand) Cason of Winterset, IA and Jane (Leonard) Mauk of Golden, MO, grandchildren, Ashlie, Danielle, Jordan, Tyler, Jesse, Michael, Sarah, Mackenzie, Andrew, Halie and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, baby sister, Dawn Chiles, son-in-law, Ricky Blodgett and daughter-in-law, Kathy Nickens.
