Ola was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an honorary member of the Administrative Board; taught Sunday School for 21 years and also worked in the Vacation Bible School. She was a Program Chairman of the local First United Methodist Women as well as an officer of the Thomasville District. She was an active member of the Junior Service League, Membership Chairman of Thomasville Entertainment Foundation, Girl Scout Leader and Local Secretary of the Board. She was also a member of the Archbold Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, where she served as a Pink Lady.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth; Three nephews; E. Clyde III, J. Corbitt, & Donald Bruce, great nieces and nephews, faithful friends Henry C. Forbes, Sr., companion for 50 odds years and Sharon Bogan, Caregiver.
