MRS. BESS B. KELLY
Funeral services for Mrs. Bess Barker Kelly, 65, of Long Beach, Wash., will be held at the Portland crematorium Thursday at 1:30 PM with Rev. Lansing E. Kempton of Trinity Episcopal church officiating. Mrs. Kelly died Sunday at her home.
She was born in Madison, Wis, March 17,1879, and came to Portland with her husband in 1892. The removed to Hood River in 1919 and in 1936 went to Long Beach. Mrs. Kelly is survived by three children, Elizabeth Kelly, Corvallis; Katherine Kelly, Long Beach. and a son, Scott Kelly of the United States Navy.

Bess Kelly was my grandmother. She came to Portland with her parents in 1892. It was there she met her husband Fielding Scott Kelly and they married 17 Dec 1902. Bess and Fielding removed to Hood River in 1919
