Shirley Marie Parsons, 83, of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at King's Daughters Medical Center. Born April 28, 1929 in Lawrence County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Herbert A. and Sarah Vanover Kelly, she was a former employee of Scioto Memorial Hospital and was a member of Union Free Will Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Daniel (Debbie) Ward of Wheelersburg; two daughters, Patricia (Jim) McGraw of Minford, Angela (David) Morrison of Wheelersburg; seven grandchildren, Brett (Paula) McGraw, Rhonda (Bob) Porter, Jamie (David) Jenkins, Jodi (Todd) Hammond, Jared Ward, Seth Morrison, Matt (Lori) Morrison; nine great grandchildren, Amanda (Brad) Evans, Robby Porter, Sarah (Matt) Lloyd, Kyle (Courtney) McGraw, Devin Jenkins, Darbie Jenkins, Emi-Jo Hammond, Blake Hammond, Penn Morrison, Claire Morrison; two great great grandchildren on the way, and three brothers, Hobert (Betty) Kelly, Homer (Betty) Kelly and Carl Jay (Edith) Kelly all of South Webster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Glennis Ward on January 26, 1983, John W. Walter on November 27, 1993, Carl T. Parson on October 10, 2011; one son in infancy, Glennis Dale Ward, and one grandson, Justin D. Ward.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastors Brett McGraw and Chris Oiler officiating. Burial will be at Kelly Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
