Lucille Cape, 78, a resident of Summit Manor Health & Rehab, formerly of the Cundiff community, died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 12:05 a.m. at Summit Manor. She was a daughter of the late Marion and Susie Keith Kelly, the widow of Robert Cape and was preceded in death by one son and one daughter, Jerrell Cape and Carolyn Cape.

She is survived by five daughters, Kathy and her husband Randall Bunch of Jamestown, Sharlene Cape of Columbia, Marilyn and her husband Tony Taylor of Cincinnati, Susan Grant of Columbia, and Teresa and her husband Irvin Bertram of Columbia; two sons, Tracy and his wife Laurie Cape of Bowling Green, Phillip Cape of Columbia; one sister Marie George of Jamestown; and one brother Roy Kelly of Chicago. Nineteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren also survive.

Services were held Friday, June 1, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Bro. Buford Hadley and Bro. Cleveland Johnson officiating.

Burial in the Cundiff Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Justin Grant, Jonathan Grant, Jason Sneed, Adam Cape, Neal Cape, and Marc Taylor.
