Anson Kelley, 81, of Salado went to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 24th 2015 at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Temple TX.

Visitation for Anson will be 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m., Monday, September 28th 2015, at Broecker Funeral Home, 949 West Village Road, Salado, Texas.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, September 29th 2015 at 9:00a.m. at Salado Cemetery.

Anson was born May 29th, 1934 in Van Zandt County, Texas to William and Laura Kelley.
He attended Salado High School and married Glenda Jean Walker March 23rd, 1955. They have been residents of Salado for 14 years and were members of Prairie Dell Baptist Church.

Anson joined the United States Air Force in 1953. He retired August 31st, 1975. Following his retirement, he worked for Flight Safety at Altus AFB, Oklahoma and then Lackland AFB San Antonio TX.
Anson was a long time volunteer at Baylor Scott and White Memorial Hospital and McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple TX.

Survivors include his wife Glenda, son Terri of Cameron, and daughters Donna of San Antonio and Sandie of Salado. He has two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
