Edward P. Kelley, Jr.
PAWTUCKET- The body of Edward P. Kelley jr., 67 of 84 Julian ST. was found Friday in a snow bank in his backyard. He had been reported missing during Monday's snowstorm. He was the husband of Roseanna (Bulpitt) Kelley
Born Jan. 24, 1911, in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Edward P. and Catherine (Garrity) Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
A communicant of St. Theresa's Church, South Attleboro, he was a member of the Elks, the Moose Club, the Knights of Columbus, the Bouffard Council of North Providence, the Italian Dramatic Club of Pawtucket and the Fairlawn Cardinals, a Pawtucket youth club.
Besides his wife, he leaves four sons, Edward Kelley of Pawtucket, William and Raymond Kelley, both of Cumberland, and Paul Kelley of Barrington; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Clarke of the Phillipines; Six Brothers, Raymond Kelley of North Conway, N.H., William Kelley of Central Falls, Walter and Leo Kelley, both of Pawtucket, Irving Kelley of Cranston and Joseph Kelley of Northport, Fla.; a sister Mrs. Agnes Kelley of Providence, and 18 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7:45 a.m. from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home, 530 Smithfield Ave., Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa's Church, Washington Street, South Attleboro, at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Note: Edward Disappeared during the Blizzard of 78 and was found 3 days later in a snow bank.
