Accidently killed in Crawford County Missouri. Aged 35 yrs, 4 mo. & 10 dys.

His remains were buried here Jan. 23, 1872.

For three years during the Great Rebellian he served his country bravely and Faithfully, being at that time a member of Co. E. 4th RegR.I. V. He was wounded at the battle of Antietam, Sept 17 1862.

A true patriot.
