Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of God for Lillie K. Goforth, 69, of Wagoner. The Rev. Carl Murphy officiated. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery under direction of Hersman Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Chris Charboneau, Curtis Goforth, Donny Goforth, Ronny Goforth, Steve Goforth and David Zachary. Honorary pallbearers were Danny Goforth and Mike Goforth.
Born November 15, 15, 1917, in Lenna, McIntosh County, Oklahoma, United States to Jesse and Ora (Roden) Kelley, Mrs. Goforth died Friday, January 23, 1987, in Muskogee Regional Medical Center.
She had moved to Wagoner in 1984 after retiring from Crest Mark Aluminum in Lewisville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, in 1968.
Survivors include five sons; Gene Goforth of Okay, Carroll of Lewisville, Texas, Frank Goforth and Joe Goforth, both of Wagoner and Jerry Goforth of Denton, Texas; four daughters, Glenda Trace of Okay, Lynda Browar and Marry Lee Daledovich, both of Lewisville, Texas, Pauline Sampson of Wagoner and Mary Ellen Berry of Rialto, California; 30 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
