Mrs. Frances Bartlett, 36, 629 Roanoke Ave., was pronounced dead at 5:55 p.m. Saturday at Wood River Township Hospital. Mrs. Bartlett was reportedly found earlier at her home, in critical condition from a gun shot wound. Deputy Coroner Philip Weber declined to say if the death was a suicide, but said that an inquest as pending. An Edwardsville resident all of her life, she was born Jan. 26, 1931 at St. Louis Hospital, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. (Brockmeier) Kelleher. She was married to Harlan E. Bartlett, who survives, on Nov. 27, 1948, in Edwardsville. Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are one son, and her brother, Judge Joseph T. Kelleher, Jr. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held from the Church at Madison and Notre Dame avenues at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Louis Elbow will officiate; burial will be in Valley View Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be at the Weber Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Monday (tonight). The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m.
