Blanche Bedell, 89, of Independence, passed away on September 11, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. Blanche was the Head Auditor with McAlpins Department Store. Blanche was a member of the Independence Homemakers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bedell, a brother, Gustave Kiefer, her sisters, Evelyn Daives, Dolores Siegmundt and Gloria Bauscher. Blanche is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Mike) Schoech, Linda (Walter) Bohl, her cherished grandchildren, Gina Bohl, Dr. Mick Schoech, Ann (Mike) Bruemmer, and her loving great-grandchildren, Gianna Bruemmer, Brody Bruemmer, Hudson Bruemmer. Visitation 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Dobbling Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Funeral Ceremony will be held 10:00 am Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the Dobbling Funeral Home, 106 S. Ft. Thomas Ave. Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association 5211 Madison Rd.
