Georgia L. Armstrong, 83, passed away Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at Trinity Mission Nursing Home in Burleson, Texas, after a long illness. A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the funeral home.
Georgia was born in Kosse, Texas, to the late Virgil and Lida Keeling. She retired from a 25-year career at Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Waco, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a precious daughter-in-law, Sandy Harvey; granddaughter, Lori Van Zandt; great-grandson, Dino Jackson; and sister, Mary Alice Pierce.
Survivors include children, James C. Harvey Jr., of Burleson, Virginia Livingston and husband, Walter, of Burleson, Linda Campbell and husband, H. E., of Eagle Nest, N.M., and Sue Engledow and husband, Bobby, of Red Oak; grandchildren, Deborah Landingham, James C. Harvey III, Donna Sharp, Stanley Livingston, Russell Rawlings, Kathy Diaz, Ricky Beeman, Troy Engledow, Lisa DuBois, and Trae Engledow; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lillie Mae Weaver, of Waco.
