Laura J. Carr, 76, of Springfield died Saturday, April 2, 2005, at her home.
She was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Champaign, the daughter of Lenwood Henry and Vivian Thompson Keeler. She married Robert A. Carr in 1947; he died in 1996.
Mrs. Carr was a sample lady at Kitmoss and an operator at Illinois Bell Telephone Co. She previously was employed by Kerasotes and Zayre. She was a member of Eagles Aerie 437 and Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors: three sons, Robert J. (wife, Joan) Carr of Springfield, Richard A. (wife, Mary) Carr of Wingdall, N.Y., and Roger A. Carr (fiancee, Mary Smith) of Chatham; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don (wife, Druce) and Bill Keeler, both of Champaign; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services: Camp Butler National Cemetery, the Rev. Randy Dempsay officiating.
