The funeral of Mrs. Mary A. Bailey took place Saturday afternoon February 10, 1884, from the Disciples church, and was largely attended by the relatives and friends of the deceased. Levi Osborne, pastor of the Disciples church, of Towanda, N.Y., delivered a fine discourse and paid glowing tribute to the Christen life of Mrs. Bailey, whom he had knower in early life. The services were deeply impressive and the remarks of S.B. Moore pastor of the church and singing of the choir, especially the singing of the solo "Savior More Than Life to Me" by Will W. Stevens, was very appropriate.
The floral offerings were very pretty.
The body was taken to Wooster cemetery for interment. Mrs. Bailey leaves four children Frank, Eli, and Fred Bailey and Mrs. Ira Wildman. Her maiden name was Mary A. Keeler, and was married to Ebenezer Bailey in 1850, Mr. Bailey died in 1860.
