Born in Morgan Co., Ohio, she married William Bradrick in 1849. She came to Missouri in 1865 and has resided in or near Canton since that time. She was a conscientious Christian and her intimate friends have said she was afraid to enjoy life lest she commit sin. Having been an invalid for 35 years, she did not often attend church, but many families in Canton can testify that she denied herself luxuries in order to help the needy. Thanksgiving Day was her 73rd birthday, and a family reunion was held. She was able to find strength enough to thank everyone for presents and talk about those who were not present (her husband had preceded her) before she passed away.
