Grove - Gary Ray Keefer, age 66, died on Thursday September 3, 2009 at Integris Grove General Hospital in Grove, Oklahoma.

The son of Henry and Ruby (Bradshaw) Keefer was born on November 16, 1942 in Lamar Colorado. Gary was united in marriage to Georgia Danis on December 16, Gary 1961. Having moved many times, Gary and Georgia had relocated from Pittsburg, Kansas moving to Grove 13 years ago. He worked for 35 years in construction industry, was a superintendent for BRB and Crossland Construction. Gary's hobbies included fishing, making his own fishing poles, hunting, gardening, country music, cruising the neighborhood in his golf cart visiting friends and neighbors. Gary was a huge sports fan, favorites being the Denver Broncos and the Oklahoma Sooners.

Gary had grown with the Lord in the last few years. He was a man of few words, if he said it, he meant it. A man with high moral standards that loved his family,

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ronald Keefer.

Gary is survived by his wife Georgia Keefer, one son Greg Keefer of Olathe Kansas, one daughter Genniene Keefer of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, one brother Kenneth Keefer and his wife Olive of Denver, Colorado, four grandchildren; Allyssa, Thaddeus, Amber Ortner, and Jacob Keefer. Gary is also survived by his wonderful dog "glue-stick" Fancy.
