ALSTON, MADELINE JESSIE - age 74 of Tazewell, TN was born August 26, 1937 and passed away February 28, 2012 at the home of her son. She was "Pie Lady" at the Do Drop In, retired from Ingles Grocery, had previously worked at Donlin Sportswear and Clancy's. She was preceded in death by her parents, Palmer and Lellie Keck; infant sister, Alene Keck; husbands, Joe Jessie and Bug Alston; father & mother-in-law, Elvin and Rosa Jessie. She is survived by her Son: Johnny and wife Sandra Jessie of Knoxville, TN; Sister: Mary Jo Brooks of Tazewell, TN
Special Nephew and Niece: Alan & Debbie Jessie; Great Nephews: Josh and Jayce Jessie; Great Great Nephew: Jayme Jessie; Several other special family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday March 3, 2012 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Saturday March 3, 2012 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel.
