W.H. Keck, 72, of Sanford died at his home there last night of a lingering illness. Keck was a resident of the Sanford community for 14 years coming to this area with Mrs. Keck while still young.
He was born in Arkansas in 1870. Twelve children were born to this union and seven survive.
The survivors include: his wife, four sons, Warren and Everett both of Borger and Fred and Walter of Sanford; and three daughters, Mrs. Dollie Thachery of Lexington, Okla., and Mrs. Helen Hall and Mrs. Stella Martin both of Borger.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Sanford Community hall with Rev. E.E. Taylor, pastor of the Fellowship Baptist church here, officiating. Burial will be at Sanford.
