Elizabeth Chrisman, 89, passed away peacefully Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, surrounded by her family.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Elizabeth, a devoted wife, mother and sports fan, was born Sept. 29, 1918, to Bob and Iva Kay. She was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth. She attended North Side High School and North Texas State College (now UNT).
Elizabeth, a housewife, also worked 22 years for the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. She never missed a track meet or football game her sons participated in. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving dinner every year for 65 straight years. She was friendly to everyone and never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Chrisman, in 1995, and brother, Roy Kay.
Survivors: Sons, John and Mark of Fort Worth; brother-in-law, Doyle Chrisman; cousin, Lee Stuart; numerous nieces and nephews.
