Toshiko K. Davis, age 85, of Omaha, Neb., passed away September 13, 2011, at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.
Toshiko was born March 25, 1926, in Yokosuka, Japan to the late Toekache and Shegae Kato. She worked for the Union Pacific Railroad in maintenance for 16 years, retiring in 1997. Toshiko was also the caretaker for her church, Community of Christ, Central Congregation on Burt St., for 37 years.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Toshiko is survived by 3 daughters, Betty (Floyd) Minor, of Council Bluffs, Lora Davis, of Omaha, Jessie (Wayne) Denk, of Micanopy, Fla.; son, Kyle Davis, of Omaha; grandchildren, Crystal Lowe, John Minor, Melissa Alitz; great grandchildren, Jacob and Abbie Alitz.
Visitation with the family, Friday, 5 to 7 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service, Saturday, 11 a.m., at the mortuary with Elder Mylon Larsen, officiating. Interment Garner Township Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association
