Alma B. Kasputis, 89, of Tower City, passed away Sunday at home.
Born in Tower City, Oct. 8, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Stiney and Anna Syncavage Kasputis.
A graduate of the former Tower City High School, she retired from the former Bestok Garment factory, Tower City, where she was a secretary and assistant to the plant manager.
Alma was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Chapel, Tower City, where she was formerly active in the Women's Club.
Alma's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her son and granddaughters whom she dearly loved.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Aldona Williams, Isabell Kopp and Anna Yurvage.
Surviving are her son, David J. Kasputis, Mechanicsburg; two granddaughters, Melissa A. Kasputis, Wynnewood, and Alexandra M. Kasputis, Medford, N.J.; daughter-in-law, Nancy Kasputis, Medford, N.J.; brother, Stiney Kasputis and his wife, Anna, Maryland; nieces and nephews whom she adored.
