Helen Kardashian, 90, of Mission Hills peacefully passed away May 21, 2008, at the Ararat Nursing Home in Mission Hills.
She was born July 15, 1917 in Oakland, the daughter of Arakel and Vartanoosh (Miroyan) Arakelian. She married Arthur Kardashian on February 12, 1938 in Los Angeles. Helen and Arthur spent many wonderful years at their home in Indian Wells. She was a dynamic wife, mother, and friend. No one can replace her. Her many family members and friends will miss her greatly.
Surviving are her husband, Arthur; one daughter, Barbara (husband, Roy) Freeman; one son, Thomas (wife, Joan) Kardashian; one sister, Hazel Perumean; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert Kardashian; two sisters, Armen Annigian and Dorothy Shahian; and one brother, Haig Arakelian.
Private graveside services were held at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood.
