Juliette R. Hurwitz, 75, southwest Kansas City, died Nov. 25, 1991, in the Villa St. Joseph, 11901 Rosewood St., Overland Park. She was born in Kansas City and lived in Sioux City, Iowa, from 1938 until she returned to Kansas City in 1979. Mrs. Hurwitz was a repair operator for the Zenith Corp. in Sioux City for 22 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Temple B'nai Jehudah.
She was a member of the National Fraternal Society for the Deaf; the national, Missouri, Kansas City and Heart of America associations of the deaf; and Mo-Kan Telecommunications for the Deaf. Survivors include her husband, Harold A. Hurwitz of the home; a son, T. Alan Hurwitz , Rochester, N.Y.; a sister, Sylvia E. Katz, Kansas City; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Louis Chapel; burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the Central Institute for the Deaf, 818 S. Euclid Ave., St. Louis, Mo. 63110.
