Carol Ann Kilgore, 56, Defiance, Ohio, died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2005, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 25, 1949, in Coeburn, Va., the daughter of Morgan Howard and Gladys (Carico) Kilgore. She was recently retired and moved to Defiance to be closer to her family, having retired as a laborer from Philip Morris, in Charlotte, N.C.
Surviving are a daughter, Angela and Mike Nihiser, Defiance, Ohio; two sons, Mike and Stacy Adams of Defiance, Ohio, and Curtis Adams, Kannapolic, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Judy Gail) Gallagher, Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Nolan Jeffrey and Sandy Kilgore, Coeburn, Va.; and five grandchildren, Ronnie, Alex, Mikie, Seth and Olivia.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Betty Kilgore and Linda Lester; and three brothers, Joe, Darrel and Johnny Bob Kilgore.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2005, in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, Ohio, with Rev. John Stephen Park officiating. Burial will be held on Oct. 22 at the Kilgore Family Cemetery, Wise County, Coeburn, Va. Visitation is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Preferred memorials are to the Defiance County Humane Society or Hospice the Caring Way of Defiance Auxiliary.
