Alberta H. Junta, age 61 years of Wyckoff, NJ formerly of Midland Park died Sunday, July 16, 1995. Beloved daughter of Helen (nee Hazen) Junta of Midland Park and the late Jacob Junta and sister of Charlotte Spencer of Midland Park, Jacob Jr. of Mahwah and Harold T. of Somerset, NJ. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services on Wednesday, July 19 from the J. H. Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave., Midland Park at 10:30 AM. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.

Alberta, or Berta as her mother frequently called her, lived a simple life. She took great pleasure in listening to the thousands of 45s she owned, memorizing the words to every one (both sides). Berta could also play anything on the organ by ear as she was incapable of reading music.
Illness kept her confined to a bed during most of her adulthood. Her wants were few, her needs were taken care of by others, but still she touched many lives during her 61 years. As she aged, Berta found great joy in her God and her music.
