Marie was the only child of "BA" and Iowa Beltz Julian. . Marie graduated from St. DeChantel Academy, Elfindale, Springfield, MO, a Roman Catholic girls' school on June 5, 1931. Marie was a graduate of The School of Journalism at Missouri University. Upon graduation Marie moved to Wichita to work at Beech Aircraft around 1940, 12 years after her first plane ride in 1928. Her job included walking out on wings of C-18s and inspecting their bomb-bay doors of AT-11's.
She was a retired Shaklee Supervisor, a charter member of St. Steven's Episcopal Church, Wichita, Kan., and had attended Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church, Branson.
Marie was always slender and enjoyed the company of her friends. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Henry.
