Dora Mae Judson was the oldest daughter of Hamilton Harris Judson and Lucy Alice Parker Judson, born on March 23, 1876, in Farmington, MN.
She attended the Farmington Public Schools and graduated in 1894. She taught school one year in Dist. 53 and one year in Dist. 56, after which she attended the Normal School in Winona, MN, graduating in 1897. She taught 3rd and 4th grades in Farmington for 8 years, and for 2 years in Glencoe, MN.
Ms. Judson gave up her teaching career and went to work in the Farmington Post Office as assistant to her father, H. H. Judson. She held this position until 1913, when she was united in marriage with Dietrich C. Michael, also of Farmington. They had no children.
Dora passed away on May 18, 1925, after a prolonged illness of acute anemia and liver trouble of two months.
The crowd that attended the funeral at the Presbyterian Church was so large that many persons were unable to crowd into the church auditorium.
