She is buried with her second husband, Rev. Zacariah Mitchell. Imogene's maiden name was Imogene Dawley Jordan. She was born 19 Jun 1840 the daughter of Col. Josiah William Jordan and Frances Moseley Dawley of Isle of Wight County, VA. Her first husband was William Graham by whom she had two children, Imogene and Walter Baker Graham. According to family tradition, her Graham children died during an epidemic in 1875. Most of her brothers and sisters are buried in Old St. Luke's Church in Isle of Wight County, VA.
She and Zachariah Mitchell were in Ford's Theater (orchestra seats) the night that President Lincoln was shot.
