NOLIE J. HOWELL, 85, of Memphis, passed away April 20, 2008. She was a member at Highland Street Church of Christ, and retired from the Army Corps of Engineers after over 37 years of service. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 23 at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold H. Howell. She leaves her daughter, Karen H. Shook of Memphis; son, Michael H. Howell of Amory, MS; four grandchildren, Timothy Howell, Lisa Rutherford, Brandi Godwin and Codi Shook; seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Eli, Easton, Gracey, Micah, Jon Logan and Kaylee.
