Missouri Ann Jones was living in Greenfield, Dade County, MO when she married Charles Nelson Harper, after his wife Martha had died in 1861. Little is known about her, except she married a J. M. Hammons after Charles Harper died in 1879. She is buried in Sinking Creek Cemetery, southeast of Everton, Dade County, Mo. The grave is on the west side of the church in the center part of the west section.

The gravestone is weathered and difficult to read. You can barely make out the words "Missouri Ann" above the lettering "Wife of J. M. Hammons." James M. Hammons married Missouri A. Harper July 8, 1883 in Cedar County, Missouri.
