Obituary: "Mrs Annie E. Jones, Widow of Dr W.E. Jones. Mrs Annie East Jones, aged 89, of 815 Johnson Street, widow of Dr William E. Jones, died Friday at a Little Rock hospital. She was a native of Batesville and had lived at Little Rock since 1918. She was a Presbyterian.

Survivors include two sons, Dr Fay H. Jones and William E. Jones, both of Little Rock; two daughters, Mrs Gordon Thomason of Magazine and Mrs J. Donald Hayes of North Little Rock, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Ruebel Funeral Home by Rev Charles A. Higgins, Pallbearers will be Dr Hal R. Black Jr, James Robinson Jr, Donald Hayes Jr, James H. Penick Jr, William L. Terry and Thomas B. Hayes. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
