Mrs. Mattie Lou Jones Died Thursday
Mrs. Mattie Lou Jones,70,died last Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah after a long illness. The Tattnall County native was a Methodist.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Barrett of Cairo, Mrs. Marilyn Wright of Molena, Mrs. Louise Edwards of Chantilly, Va., Mrs. Gloria Coleman of Reidsville; three sons, Harry Stanley of Dublin, Larry Stanley of Americus, and Robert Stanley of Ochlocknee: one brother, Ray Sheffield of Glennville; 17 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services w h Friday at 3:00 P.M. at Rimes Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Robert Kicklighter. Burial was in the Watermelon Creek Cemetery near Glennville.
Pallbearers were Danna Stanfield, Cecil Braddock, Ted Kicklighter, Dennis Stanfield, Chris Melton, and Bubba Burkhalter.
Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge of arrangements.
