Ann Bailey, 79, of San Angelo, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, in a local hospital. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church with the Rev. Phil Steinbach officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson's Funeral Home. Ann was born Feb. 3, 1934, in Abilene, Texas, to Travis and Aurelia M. (Skinner) Jones. She was a mom widowed with two young children, teacher, successful oil and gas business owner, lover of all fine arts, world traveler, generous giver to causes, avid shopper, lover of fine things, especially great shoes and Nana. She was a member of Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard T. Bailey; daughter Diane Elizabeth Bailey; and life and business partner Hal Noelke. Survivors include her son, David Bailey and wife Elizabeth of San Angelo; two grandchildren Bree and Everett Bailey; many dear friends; and her puppy pet, Abner. The family appreciates all the outpouring of flowers and love.
