Alberta was the second child of James Albert and Ola Gladys Melton, Kines. Alberta was the mother of six children, 3 boys and 3 girls. I Love You and Miss You Mama!

Survived by three Sons Dennis McLaughlin, Bruce McLaughlin and wife Janice, Russell McLaughlin and wife Dianne three daughters Patricia Martin and husband Jimmy, Phyllis Davis and husband Tommy, Janet Ingle and husband Thomas.
