Statesboro, Ga. - Mrs. Blanch Brown Jones, age 90, died Wednesday, December 22nd, 2010, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility in Statesboro. The native and life-long resident of Bulloch County was a homemaker and was also employed with Goldkist Peanut Company for several years. She was a member of the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Cyril George Jones.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Delois and Wyman Hendrix of Statesboro and Lavinia and Wayne Hudson of Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren, Kathy Newton of Statesboro, Kasey Hendrix of Warner Robins and Travis Fordham of Charleston, S.C.; four great-grandchildren, John Douglas Newton, Benjamin Newton, Brooks Hendrix and Josh Hendrix. Devoted caretaker was Susie Deloach.
The funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church with Elder John Scott officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
