Anna S Jones was the daughter of Nelson M. Jones and Caroline Reynolds Jones of Bement, Illinios. She was a school teacher in and around Piatt and McLean Counties in Central Illinois until her marriage to Robert Bowyer on 3 October 1895. The couple lived in Kinbrae, Minnesota and later in St. Croix Falls, WI. They were the parents of two children, a son who died in infancy and a daughter, Veda. She had three brothers, five half brothers and three half sisters. She was survived by her three brothers, Frank, Edgar and Roy and two half brothers, Ross and Joseph. Her husband and daughter survived her as well.
