Eula Haley "Dink", 78, Electric City resident, went to be with her heavenly Father and her daddy Willie Jones, Saturday, October 4, 2008, at LakeRidge Special Care Center. Graveside services were held Friday, October 10, at Spring Canyon Cemetery in Grand Coulee. Viewing was at the cemetery . Arrangementswere in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory.
Born (Velma) Eula Rae Jones on January 17, 1930, in Mountain View, MO., she moved to Yakima at the age of twelve. She has lived in Grand Coulee area on and off since 1964, but has resided in the Moses Lake area for the last 10 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was important to her. She loved music and was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers Association for many years. She loved God and tried to live her life by His word. She taught Sunday school and Awanis for many years. She had a love for all animals, especially dogs.
Eula is survived by her brother, Coy Jones (Ola), Eugene, Ore.; 8 children, Sue Peters (Greg), Joy Bise (Rod), Debra Mathison (Dave), all of Grand Coulee, Robin Green, Houston, Tex., Tamla Brothers (Tony), Graham, Wash., Marlene Haley (Clarence) Moses Lake, Edwin Haley (Sheryl),Plymouth, WA, and Clark Haley (Gina), Longview; two special ex-sons-in-law, Donald Picard and Tim Hughes; 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; 3 nieces, 6 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie, mother, Opal, one brother, Richard, one sister, Reba, a brother-in-law, Denver, and a grandson, Edwin.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
