Clearfield Progress..September 18, 1946.. Mrs. Bertha Marsden Jones, 73, wife of William J. Jones, died at her home in Mt. Airie, Monday evening September 16, at 6:15 o'clock. Born January 10, 1873, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Marsden. Mrs. Jones, is survived by her husband, and six children: Ivor, of Portsmouth, Virginia., Griffith, of MacIntyre., Marsden, at home., William, of Norfolk, Virginia., Mrs. Mabel Goss, of Youngstown, Ohio., and Mrs. Rhoda Brown, of Mahaffey., 18 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren, and the following brothers, and sisters, Samuel, of Stockton, California., Mrs. Harry Sleator, of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Agnes Detchey, of Centralia., and Miss. Mabel Marsden, of Philadelphia., friends may call at the McCardell Funeral Home in Burnside, Wednesday afternoon and evening and Thursday until noon. Private Funeral services will be held from the funeral home Thursday September 19, at 2:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Paul J. Taylor of Cherry Tree. Interment will be made in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Clearfield
