Lea M. Jones, 82, of Rockland died Nov. 18, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Quincy, daughter of Ralph and Lea (Joubert) Melanson, and was raised and educated there. She had been a Rockland resident since 1952. Lea was the wife of the late Joseph W. Jones; mother of Linda Pennini of Florida, Deborah Klim of Hanson and Christine Devine of Plymouth; sister of the late Ralph Melanson and Marie Ulwick. Also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The Jones family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Lea's life Monday, Nov. 22 , 2010, in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, from 4-8 p.m. A funeral home service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Mount Wallaston Cemetery in Quincy.
