CHARLES, Darlene S. (Jones) age 70 of Beavercreek passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter J. and Donna (Holms) Jones. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William S. Charles; two daughters, Denise and husband, Robert Vanderhorst, Tonya Charles; a granddaughter, Amanda M. Vanderhorst; a sister, Deborah Sue and husband, Rick Eisele; a maternal aunt, Jody and husband, Harold Grinnel. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Darlene was a graduate of Beavercreek High School, Class of 1962 and Beaver Valley Chapter #570 O.E.S. She was also a die hard Elvis fan.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, from the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
