Services were Sunday, March 18, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Albertville with the Revs. Mike Ratliff and Travis Warlick officiating. Burial followed at Memory Hill Cemetery. McRae Funeral Home was in charge.
Mrs. Adams was born in Tennessee on Nov. 1, 1927, to Arlen Franklin and Elsie McManus Jones. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard "Dick" and Cooter B. Adams, of Albertville, daughter and son-in-law, Beth Adams and Rick Brown, of Tuscaloosa; and grandsons, Richard E. Adams Jr. and Jonathon Brown.
Pallbearers were Tommy Ray Smith, Jonathon Smith, Alan Smith, Arlen Jones, Blake Jones, Christopher Lawson and Russell Nolen.
Honorary pallbearers were Harvey Elliott, Eric Butler, Tommy Smith, Jim Breland, George Wells, Robert O. Johnson, Jean Nolen, Mike Plummer, Andy Hunter, Eric Gilbert and the Bridge Club Ladies.
