James Lynn Jones, 58, of Denton, died October 28, 2011, in Denton. A private family graveside service was held October 31, in the Mexia Cemetery with Brother David Mahan officiating.
Lynn was born January 19, 1953, in Victoria, to Jack Ralph and Franchelle Fowler Jones.
He graduated from Mexia High School in 1971.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Ralph Jones.
Lynn is survived by his mother, Franchelle Jones, of Athens; sister, Sharon Bankhead, and husband Bobby, of Athens; and three nephews, Trey Bankhead and wife Dedra, of Athens, Trent Bankhead, of Nacogdoches, and Tye Bankhead, of Dallas.
