Vieva Roper Jolley, a resident of Route 5, South Fulton, died Thursday at Parkway Regional Hospital. She was 87.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Hornbeak Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Murphy officiating and burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Loyal Workers Sunday School Class of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Friends may call from 4-8 tonight.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Jolley.
She is survived by a sister, Eva Sterrett, Hendersonville, N. C.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. W. L. Jolley Sr., South Fulton; several nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
A native of Obion County, she was born Oct. 16, 1900, daughter of the late Dr. James Forrest and Leila Gossum Roper. She worked with her husband at Jolley Orchards. She was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church and taught the Loyal Workers Sunday School Class.

South Fulton, Tenn. -– Vieva Roper Jolley, 87, of South Fulton Ft. 5, died Thursday morning at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, Ky.
Mrs. Jolley, the widow of Royce Jolley, was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she taught the Loyal Workers Sunday school class.
Survivors include a sister, Eva Sterrett of Hendersonville, N.C.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton. The Rev. Vernon Murphy will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
