Run and currently a resident of
the DuBois Nursing Home, died
at the home on Sunday, March 21,
She was born in Curry Run,
Mahaffey R.D., on May 13, 1899,
a daughter of Frederick B. and
Mary "Molly" (McCracken)
She was a homemaker, was
affiliated with the West Side
United Methodist Church and
had been a member of the former
Ladies Temperance League.
These children survive: Mrs.
Howard (Betty J.) Brown,
Crossville, Tenn.; Paul R.
Curley, DuBois; Richard J.
Curley, Kersey, and John F.
A sister, Mrs. Adda Dickey of
Mahaffey R.D., also survives as
do 21 grandchildren and 30 great
She was preceded in death by
her parents, her husband Roy P.
Curley, a son Preston R. Curley,
brothers Samuel and Max
Johnston and sisters Evelyn
Dickey and Hazel Milton.
Funeral services will be at 11
a.m. Wednesday at the Bennett
and Houser Funeral Home,
Clearfield. Dr. Raymond D.
Fravel will officiate and interment
will be in Crown Crest
Friends may call at the funeral
home Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m. and until the hour of services
